However, he wouldn’t give Harry his powers to kill the Mantid until he first killed a human. Of all the Resident Alien characters he chooses to kidnap for Harry to complete his mission, it’s Max. Harry instead kills his father to save the boy and get his powers back. In so doing, he completes a major season 1 story arc.
Ben & Kate Finding Out Harry Is An Alien Completes Max’s Season 1 Story
Max Has Known Harry Was Actually An Alien Since The Start
As Harry gets his powers back and hugs Max, Ben and Kate arrive, seeing that he is, in fact, an alien. This revelation comes after they’ve gotten their baby back from the Greys, who are going to leave them alone in exchange for Harry killing the Mantid. But it also finally resolves Max’s season 1 storyline with Harry.
When Harry first arrived in town, Max could see he was an alien. He started to post drawings of him around town, trying to convince people of who he was. Eventually, the pair began forming a strong friendship, with Max even investigating once he discovered Harry had been replaced by the Mantid at the end of Resident Alien season 3.
What Ben & Kate’s Discovery Means For Resident Alien Season 4
How Their Story Will Play Out In The Final Episodes
Now that Ben and Kate know Harry’s an alien, he can recruit them to help kill the Mantid. This could be made even easier if the couple confess the truth to Mike and Liv, since Mike knows the threatening alien is currently pretending to be Jules. It would make the antagonist easy to track down if everyone cooperates.
The couple likely have plenty of questions too, leading Harry to reveal more about what’s happened behind-the-scenes. This could even include them learning D’Arcy kept their baby safe from the Greys, explaining why she was on their ship. With three episodes remaining, Resident Alien season 4 has plenty of time to utilize the reveal effectively.
