Milo Callaghan: I think that in lots of ways, you just have to watch him find out. But this is always like [our showrunner] Michael Seitzman used to say, this is the coming of age story of Rudy Baylor. I suppose you have to work out where he ends up on that journey towards the end of the series.

Is there scope for more? I think there are always amazing conversations to have, and when you have creators like Michael behind a show this, there are incredible ways that it can be taken. Those would be conversations that are ongoing, but we will have more definitively.
ScreenRant: Is there something you’d like to explore about each of your characters if there is a season 2?
Robyn Cara: Yeah, I’d probably love to explore Kelly once she’s started to heal, and to explore her joy a little bit more. You get to see bits of her being happy, but she’s happy not enough. And that would be because of her situation [of being in an abusive marriage]. But that would be so nice to see.
