NEXT TIME On The Curse Of Oak Island – Season 13 Episode 17 Sneak Peak!

This is bigger than what we think. There could be treasure down there.
>> Wait, what? That was Fiona that said there could be treasure down there. I would expect something like that from Jack, but Fiona. Hey everyone, it’s Jeff here with the JFree 906 podcast channel.
And we didn’t get a chance to show next time on the Curse of Oak Island. So, I decided that once the preview came out and the sneak peek that they had that we’d put something together and talk about this a little bit. So, yeah. Fiona said, “This is bigger than we think.” She’s talking about the area underneath the boulder. Not just the area, but what she is finding under there bigger than what we think. There’s been a lot of people on the internet that have said, “Oh, it’s a grave. You know, there’s a grave. It’s just covering a grave.” They would have found bones already. And they’ve taken a lot of samples out of there. So, we’ll see coming up just exactly uh what that’s all about. There was a lot of excitement about this at our Oak Island convention that we had back in September. for Fiona, Lear, Ian, many of them were very excited about something they had just found and it was on lot eight and this is it. Then we take a look and the money pit.
>> What was that? Quesan just hit something in solid.
>> Hit something solid. Yeah, they hit something solid somewhere around 210 ft.
Should be down in the solution channel.
Okay, what is it? Did they hit bedrock?
Did they hit some other kind of structure?
>> This might have been around the treasure chest. Gary finds a piece of chain. This came out of the uh money pit spoils that went through the wash plant. You can see that they’re standing down in Smith’s Cove right there where the wash plant is. That piece of chain was hundreds of feet underground. Why was it there?
Another curious find. They’ll get that thing dated hopefully and find out just how old it is.
>> Something really hard right there.
>> Let’s see what we got.
They do some metal detecting as always in the spoils as they’re coming out of the money pit and they find something solid. What is it? Chunk of wood. We just don’t know yet, but we’ll find out this week. It looks like they found something important while they’re working in the north swamp or the north bog as Rick has been calling it lately.
>> Oh my gosh.
>> What is it?
>> It’s perfectly on the line of the grass.
It’s what we’ve been looking for.
>> It looks like it might be a large boulder as you hear Tom Nolan say. lines up perfectly with the cross. Yeah, that’s Nan’s cross. Could it be yet another stone that is part of the tree of life in the cross that’s dated to the 1200s? Again, we’re going to find out on Tuesday night and we’ll be talking about it right here on the Jere 906 podcast on Wednesday night, 7:30 p.m.
