We can’t help but assume that the guys we’ve seen dabbling in dirt and gold for the past 10 years have a lot of money to show for themselves, too — and they’re on a popular reality show on Discovery.

Read on for all the details, including their salary, net worth, and more.

Parker Schnabel

As far as Klondike mining prodigies go, Parker Schnabel is up there with the best of them. Beginning at the age of five, Schnabel spent his childhood in the vicinity of his grandfather’s Porcupine Creek “Huge Nugget” mine.

You won’t believe this, but in season 1 he was barely 15 years old and played the role of a recurrent character as his grandfather, John Schnabel, stole the show. By the end of the second season, he was a regular cast member.

He was effectively running his grandfather’s show by the time he was 18 years old, and he was also competing head-to-head with his more seasoned co-star and rival. According to Discovery’s bio, Parker had mined more than $13 million worth of gold by the time he was 24 years old, and he hasn’t slowed down since.

In 2012, his net worth was assessed by Wild Celebrity Net Worth to be around $8 million. As of 2021, other sources have put the figure at $9–10 million.

Tony Beets

On the basis of his net worth alone, the renowned Klondike miner Tony Beets is the wealthiest member of the Gold Rush cast. After all these years, no mine boss has come close to matching Parker Schnabel’s level of expertise.

On top of the millions of dollars worth of gold he mines every season, Beets puts up an outstanding performance. Even though he hasn’t been able to beat his younger competitors, he also makes a colossal sum of money from the show — $25,000 every episode.

Since he owns numerous mines, he occasionally leases them out to his rivals. One of his most recent purchases was a property in Clear Creek for $1 million. His wealth was estimated at $15 million in 2013, but by 2021, some publications predict it might reach $18 million.

Todd Hoffman

Todd Hoffman got his start as a lead foreman, serving as Parker Schnabel’s right-hand man. In season 4, without Parker, he proved his worth. After season 8, he chose to strike out on his own and attempt to be his own boss.

After leaving the show, the idea of a series he was planning to create with Tom Beers, the executive producer of Bering Sea Gold, titled Greenhorn Gold, never materialized.

Hoffman also has a YouTube channel with over 140,000 subscribers and 31 million views as of 2021, a respectable amount thanks to his time spent pursuing his passion for music. He continues to produce a lot of cover songs and other music on the platform.

There has been no update to his assertion that he is worth $7 million. Some sites list his net worth at half a million dollars, while others put it closer to $5 million.

Jack Hoffman

Jack Hoffman, Todd’s father, was a cast member until 2018. Along with his son, he formed an outstanding mining team that performed admirably up until season 8.

After Jack spent 25 years as a miner, his son invited him back to the family business. Jack, who was in his 60s when he made his appearances, was a dynamic force who amassed a fortune of over $20 million in gold.

His $5 million net worth is reasonable, but it’s doubtful it has remained unchanged since leaving the TV show and possibly even the mining industry. Starting in 2020, a more reasonable estimate was about $1.5 million.

Dave Turin

Dave Turin joined Todd Hoffman’s team on Gold Rush. He didn’t remain for more than two seasons before he revealed in season 5 that he wanted to be his own boss and left the show.

In 2019, Gold Rush: Dave Turin’s Lost Mine, a spin-off series, became a success. With three seasons under its belt, the spin-off is in the running for a fourth.

If Turin’s net worth increased from $2 million in 2012 to $3 million in 2021, that would be a significant rise.
